Nomin Lyons grew up in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. She moved to Portland, OR to see first hand why and what makes Portland one of the most livable cities in the world. She is a free thinker with an academic background in economics and environmental sciences. Design+Culture Lab sparked her interest in design research. More often than not, her thoughts are occupied by strategies on inclusive community development and dance style called popping.
